Boko Haram, which means Western Education is a Sin, is the name of a deadly militant Islamist organization that has been terrorizing the Northern part of Nigeria. They have attacked the United Nations building, bombed media houses, slaughtered children and women in their hundreds of thousands. The Human Rights Watch categorizes it as a Civil War. Since communication alone cannot conquer terrorism, we decided to start a movement of Bookworms who would fight for the right of the Nigerian child to education, because after all, only educated minds can resist the temptation of being brainwashed into this sick ideology. We use the name of this terrorist organization against them by flipping Boko Haram for Boko Halal, which means in Arabic; Education is Virtuous.
Boko Halal needs every Nigerian to help fight for the right of the Nigerian Child to have access to not only world class education, but all the good life can offer. The best time WAS YESTERDAY, the next best time IS THIS SECOND.

Welcome to 2014! we at the Ark are sooooo sure its going to be a GREAT YEAR!
As we prepared for the days’ job this morning, we came across these carefully selected quotes that inspired us a great deal… we decided to share some of them with you and hoped it would do the same to you too
“Reach high, for the stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.” – Pamela Vaull Starr
“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.” – T.S. Eliot
“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” – Andre Gide
It’s never too late!
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” – C.S. Lewis
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
It takes grit, determination, and devotion
“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.” – Zig Ziglar
“Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be.” – George Sheehan
“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s words await another voice.” – T.S. Eliot
